What To Do During A No Spend Month

Share The Love!

We are over the halfway point of our no spend month! It’s been going pretty well. There actually haven’t been too many temptations except for a few times I’ve wanted to go out to eat. It is interesting to see when I’m tempted to spend money and on what. It’s been helpful to unsubscribe from email lists for sure. I did have to get rid of my favorite pair of jeans because I wore through them! It was hard not to go out and try to replace them, but I do have other pairs that I can wear instead.

First of all, what is a no spend challenge? It’s a period of time where you commit to spending as little as possible! No take out, no shopping and no impulse buys! It’s a great way to jumpstart your debt repayment or savings goals.

Just because you’re not spending money doesn’t mean you can’t have any fun! I wrote last week about no spend date night ideas, but here’s some ideas that aren’t for dates! It’s a great time to be productive or try new things.
