October Goals

I can’t believe it’s time to set new goals for a new month! September flew by. I love October and the fall and I’m really excited to enjoy it.

First a recap of my September goals

  1. Drink more water – pretty much a fail. I was just more aware of how much water I wasn’t drinking! Maybe a small improvement but I’m going to continue to work on this
  2. Plan for Christmas – I made a list and a budget! So it’s a win. Now to start some shopping, the best part!
  3. Publish 2 blog posts a week and grow the blog – I did publish 2 posts a week AND it’s been the best month so far for views.

I really feel like I’ve been more productive these past few months since starting the monthly goals. It’s been helping me stay focused on things that need my attention.

My health goal this month is to work out 30 minutes each day 6 days a week. I have been so sporadic with exercise lately, so hopefully this will motivate me to get moving!

This month for my finance goal I want to continue the focus on where our money is going. We started our new debt repayment plan so I want to find an extra $400 to put on the debt. I signed up for mint.com and I love the breakdown of expenses into categories. It makes it easy to see at a glance where your money is going.

My other goal is to write every day. I have most of this month’s blog posts mapped out so writing every day will help me make sure they are done and the best they can be!
