December Goals and Update
Goals || Tags: goals ||Um what? It’s the last month of the year already? I really love December, Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love all the family time, the decorations and the way the end of the year makes us reflect on the year that just passed. I’m really excited for 2019, and can’t wait to share by big 2019 goals with you, but that will have to wait for another day!
Let’s recap my November goals:
- My health goal was to meal plan. Um mostly fail. Although I was super mindful of getting veggies in. There were lots of treats happening too.
- My finance goal was to have 15 no spend days this month, and I had about 8, which is not bad! I had a really hard time with this considering we were buying Christmas gifts but I did cut back on eating out lunch so I’ll call that a win! I had made a little side goal with my Money Talks group on Facebook! Shout out to those girls to challenging me to make an extra $100 this month! I sold some jewelry and old wedding stuff and made an extra $145 that went straight to the debt.
- My other goal was to organize the house, and I have to say it feels so much better than it did! We got the basement organized and set up, I sold some extra stuff taking up space, and I cleaned when I put the Christmas decorations up!
December Goals
Is eating ALL the Christmas cookies a goal? Probably not a good goal I guess. Okay down to the real goals:
Health Goal: Drink.More.Water. Why I find it to hard to stay hydrated I’ll never know. But with the holidays and all the drinks, I know I’ll feel better if I drink water.
Finance Goal: Stay on our budget for Christmas! We’re almost done shopping, not much left to do! I find it so easy to go overboard with gifts and decorations.
Other Goal: I have a big project that I’m wrapping up, and I PROMISE that I will be sharing it with you by the end of the month (or before then!). So my other goal is to finish it up so that I’m ready to share it with you all!
Net Worth Update:
Small bump in our net worth! We spent a bit of our travel fund on our cruise next month. I’m pretty excited the retirement fund is over $10,000! I got big savings goals for 2019!
