50 Things To Declutter
Finance || Tags: minimalism ||We’re on a mission to declutter in our house lately! Last weekend my husband and I watched the documentary Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things. The next day we both went through our closets, getting rid of lots of old clothes. I passed my clothes along to a friend’s daughter (should I be worried a teenager likes my clothes?). We are going to donate my husband’s clothes. When I went through my closet I put everything back on hangers backwards, so when it’s used I will put it back the right way, and I will know what I haven’t worn in 6-9 months and then it can be donated. It’s hard to believe how much you have until you are going through it!

Since then we have gone through our books, threw out old magazines, and I have downsized my digital life as well! Here are some things to start going through! Obviously you don’t have to do this all at once, pick one room or category a day or week until it’s all done! I can’t tell you how much better I feel looking at my more organized closet and book shelf.
