What is the Memory Maker?
The Memory Maker gets you unlimited downloads of photos taken by Disney’s PhotoPass photographers which are stationed around the parks, and some resorts. You also get ride photos and videos from select rides. When the photographer takes your picture you scan your magic band, and the photos are automatically linked to your account to view online!

Characters With Memory Maker:

For the best character photos to get, visit Enjoying The Days
You can use the My Disney Experience App to find photographers around the parks.
How Much Does It Cost?
If you buy in advance (it cannot be activated until 3 days after purchase) it is $169USD, to buy immediately on, or after your trip it is $199USD. If you get an annual pass, the Memory Maker is included!
Why I Feel It’s Worth It
I love having some of our ride photos and videos! The PhotoPass photographers are great and will include some “Magic Shots” where they will add Tinkerbelle or other characters to your photos! The photographers are at character interactions, and you get lots of candid shots. One of the best parts for me is not worrying about getting the camera out or getting someone else to take a photo of us.
I’ll let some of my favourite photos speak for themselves!
I love having the photos from the Christmas Party and Halloween Party! It adds something special to an already extra special night
Final Thoughts
So what do you think? Can you see why I love it? If this is your once in a life time trip you won’t regret getting all these great photos! Will you get the Memory Maker?

I love my memory maker. Just a heads up, it is only included with gold annual passes and above.
true! Thanks for that info!
Love this post! Yes, yes, yes! Memory Maker is worth it in my opinion, particularly if you only visit once or every few years. Those shots are classic and priceless! My boys love to be creative and plan out their “lasting images” with the attraction photos. Sometimes they make me want to hide before the shot is taken….lol.
haha yes a few of our ride photos families with us are posing. I wish they let us in on it!!
Some of our Memory Maker photos are the best! I love the magic enhanced ones and the ride photos as well! It’s definitely worth it if you are going to use it! 🙂
I love the ride photos! Some of the faces are great! haha
This is super helpful as I’m going to Disney next year so thank-you for this post! So much nicer than carrying a camera round I think 🙂
You’re welcome! Yes it’s perfect! And much more reliable than asking a stranger to take a photo! haha
I love Memory Maker! I hope more attractions get videos, those are the best. I wish I had known my first time getting Memory Maker to ask for Magic shots because I just assumed the photographers would do them without being asked. Some did, but the majority did not.
I am local and have never done Memory Maker, but agree that the convenience itself would be worth the cost if I was taking a big vacation there. I have known families who split the cost and then just share the photos later.
