May Goals and Update
Goals || ||IT’S GONNA BE MAY!
Oh wait, it is. I know that joke is soooo overused but I can’t help but love it, being a 90’s baby and all.
The days are getting longer, it’s getting a little warmer, and we haven’t had snow in like a week, maybe 2!
Every month that goes by we’re getting closer to being debt free and I can’t wait. Let’s recap my April goals:
Health goal: follow my training plan, which has mostly gone well. I haven’t missed any of the longish runs I do on Sundays, I haven’t always stuck to the plan throughout the week but all in all training is feeling pretty good!
Finance goal: cash budget for groceries, which went pretty well except for a trip that I didn’t have the cash with me. We ended up eating out a lot more in April than I had planned as we went away for a funeral.
Other goal: Organizing did not happen, it definitely needs to though!
May Goals
I’m really excited for May, it’s a 3 payday month so I’m hoping we’ll be able to throw a big chunk at the debt!
Health Goal: Keep on running! I know this is the same as last month but I’m putting a pretty big focus on it right now.
Finance Goal: I really want to go into June with $1500 or less in debt. We have $3162.30 left right now. With a 3 pay month this month it should be possible!
Other Goal: To be a bit more productive, I’m going to make a list of things to do each day. I found this super helpful when I did it before to prioritize things to get done that day.
Net Worth Update
A little change this month. It’s so awesome to watch our net worth go up over the last year!
