30 Day Spring Cleaning Challenge
Minimalism || Tags: minimalism ||Happy Spring! If you’re like me, every year I say I’m going to do some spring cleaning and then never really get around to it. This year I’ve made myself a 30 day challenge! I’m going to pick one thing from the list each day to clean out and throw away or donate the extras!

One A Day Spring Cleaning Challenge
Cleaning things out will help with physical and mental clutter. Having physical clutter around you can increase stress and anxiety. Taking care of our possessions takes up precious time we could spend doing things we love! Not to mention the money we spent on things we don’t need or use.

Important things to remember when you’re spring cleaning:
- To avoid overwhelm, focus on one thing at a time. That’s why I set up the challenge to do one area at a time. If you try to do everything in one weekend you’ll feel overwhelmed and likely give up
- Give away anything that it still useable. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “one mans trash is another mans treasure!”
- Don’t feel guilted into keeping things that are gifts. Just because something was a gift from someone special, doesn’t mean you have to keep it.
- Get help. You don’t have to do it alone! Get some help, especially from someone who doesn’t live with you, so they can be objective!
- Can’t bear giving it away yet? Pack it in a box and store it for a few months. If you don’t miss it, donate it!
- Sell things that you can make some money from.
